The Kirkland Police Department is hosting an upcoming Guns for Gift Cards event, where Kirkland community members can exchange unwanted guns for gift cards. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kirkland Justice Center, located at 11750 NE 118 th Street. Guns for Gift Cards is part of the City of Kirkland’s broader efforts to reduce gun violence and prevent firearms from being stolen, misused, or involved in tragic accidents or suicides. Each unwanted firearm turned in is one less weapon that could potentially cause harm in the community.
