Did you know the City of Kirkland has a transportation tool to take a trip with your friends and family? The Community Van program provides 6- and 12-passenger vans for pre-scheduled rides. You can go anywhere within a two-hour drive of Kirkland any time of day, any day of the week. How does it work? Request a trip 4+ business days in advance if you’d like to be driven by a volunteer driver. Set your pickup and drop-off locations (other cities also have this service, head to the King County websites to learn more!). Passengers over 18 years old pay $3 each for the round trip – that’s a standard Metro bus fare! Drivers travel for free. Fun fact: you can use your Orca card to pay! Please note you must have the monthly or annual pass to utilize this benefit. You can also use a King County Human Services bus ticket. Learn more at our website !
