Kirkland Police has joined the Eastside Safe Streets Task Force, a regional partnership with Bellevue, Issaquah, and Redmond focused on addressing the driving concerns we hear most from our community: speeding, reckless driving, and loud modified exhaust. Through this coordinated effort, officers from each agency will work together to patrol areas most impacted by dangerous driving and ongoing noise concerns.
This regional approach allows agencies to share resources and focus on safer speeds and safer roads across city lines. Community members can support the effort by reporting dangerous driving when it occurs.
