Who We are: - Highlands Neighborhood Association

The Highlands Neighborhood Association (HNA) is a community-led nonprofit dedicated to making our corner of Kirkland the best place to call home. As one of the City of Kirkland’s thirteen official neighborhood associations, we serve as the bridge between residents and local government.

What We Do

We believe a great neighborhood doesn’t just happen—it’s built through active participation and local pride. Our mission focuses on three core pillars:

Community Events: Bringing neighbors together through seasonal gatherings and local celebrations.
Civic Engagement: Keeping you informed and involved in the local affairs that impact your daily life.
City Advocacy: Partnering with Kirkland city officials to improve infrastructure, safety, and overall livability.
